Thank You from Goodwill

Since the summer of 2012, the Junior Patriots Baseball Club players have partnered with Goodwill Industries and donated their time with their “Sack it to Goodwill” campaign.  Our program will continue this tradition for years to come.

Mr. Jason Feucht

Commissioner

Junior Patriots Baseball Club, Inc.

Hello Jason:

On behalf of Goodwill NCW, I want to personally thank the Junior Patriots players’ and parents who volunteered on March 23rd to distribute “March to Goodwill” donation bags door-to-door to support our donation drive effort. It was very neat to see the dedication of the players on a Saturday morning and more importantly the maturity and politeness they exuded. Well done. As an Appleton South sider myself, I am proud to be associated with a club that recognizes the importance of community service and strives to get involved. Goodwill honors the volunteer time and effort provided by the Junior Pats.

The distribution of donation bags for the “March to Goodwill” 2013 campaign helped us collect 176,000 pounds during the month. In closing, I hope that Goodwill NCW and the Junior Patriots have set the stage for future collaborations. Once again Goodwill NCW thanks all who stepped to the plate and delivered a game winner for both Goodwill and the greater community.

Peace, love and Goodwill.

Sincerely,

Jim Vanden Boom

Bell Ringing 2011

Since 2010 the Junior Patriots Baseball Club staffed Salvation Army bell ringing at multiple locations in our community during the Christmas Holiday season.  Players, parents and siblings helped support the community outreach goals of the Jr. Patriot Program in this critical campaign for the Salvation Army.  Junior Patriot coaches and parents helped coordinate the effort, with at least 26 sessions completed each year.  Well over 100 hours of support time was logged each year as most sessions included 2 or more volunteers.

Thanks to Junior Patriot parents for supporting the players in this community outreach project.
